West Colton Rail Terminal Holds An Emergency Response Open House
HOUSTON / November 10, 2011
The West Colton Rail Terminal in Rialto, California held an Emergency Response Open House on Thursday, November 10th, 2011. The West Colton Rail Terminal offloads over 4500 tank railcars annually of bulk liquid ethanol for use in gasoline blending in the Inland Empire area of Southern California.
“The open house afforded emergency response personnel as well as other state and county agencies the opportunity to see firsthand what to expect at WCRT should there ever be a need for them to respond to an emergency at the terminal,†said Ron Percival, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager for the West Colton Rail Terminal. “We continually work to develop these types of relationships at each of our terminals. We believe that this type of interaction between the West Colton Rail Terminal and emergency responders is critical not only to the terminal’s safe operation but to the community as a wholeâ€.
The West Colton Rail Terminal is owned by West Colton Rail Terminal, LLC, a company which is part of the U.S. Development Group of companies. The U.S. Development Group companies are engaged in logistics terminalling, as well as designing, developing, owning and managing large-scale logistic centers throughout the United States.
